Day one in the travels of Musashi. Patterned after the historical figure Miyamoto Musashi, this Blog was intended to outline my travels through the various trials and tribulations of living in Japan. A general overview of my day here begins rising with the sun (huh, rising sun pun there). Jumping on the train, pulling a full day at work, and returning in the mad rush that is communting to and fro. There will be many other inserts and funny takes of living here which, after 15 years, you become too numb to notice. This is an attempt to document that which is the norm in my mind but might prove to be quite interesting to the person not exposed to one of the most densly populated countries in the world. Sit back, fasten your seatbelts and prepare to travel the often bumpy road as we search for the enlightenment that seemed to drive the travels of Miyamoto Musashi.
