If you are someone who has a small child in your life, this is a must do. I remember doing this last year and my kids loved it. You can basically create a personalized message from Santa to the child. I didn't think much about it all at first, but as I walked through the setup, I was able to really customize it to include things that I need them to work on (i.e., being good, listening, being nice to brother/sister etc.). And to be honest, if the fat man in the red suit can help enforce these life lessons to the kids then I'm all for it. Isn't that in someways holiday blackmail? Of course it is!

December 2010

Wow, it has been a while, but with the run up to the holidays, I figured I better get something up here.  Life is good and we are getting settled in to a life of routine.  Well as much as we can.  I am trying to take my photography a bit more serious.  Enjoying the kids and work is, well, work.  I have high aspirations for the new year as I want to continue to grow further as a husband, father and professional, but the reality is, we shoot for the same goals every year.  Having said that, I suppose our main goal should be to just survive and make it through another round of "Best of 20XX" programming on the television.

Yes this is a post of random thoughts, but that is how my thought process has been as of late.  A bit all over the map with fluxuating ebbs and tides of creativity and work thoughts jumping to the forefront of the processing que.  The next few weeks are going to be crazy, so if I don't post again before the holidays are over, have a great wrap up to 2010 and I will see you on the other side.
