For many small reasons I have decided to go all split-brained in my blogging experiences and journey. I wanted to start really focusing more on topics that aligned with my professional career. All seemed to be going quite well, then I started exploring options for monetization. I mean why not? It is my career, might as well try to make a bit of coin on the side from it.
First look adSense. I had used adSense a long time ago when the world of WordPress was much simpler. Found the plugins and woah! Wait a minute… I have to upgrade to a much more expensive plan to be able to use various plugins? That is a problem for someone just getting things back off the ground. There would not be enough ad revenue to justify that sort of cost out of the gate.
I had to go all “split-brain” because I need to start thinking about my professional future, while having an outlet for the dark, humorous recesses of my brain. For that, I will be using SURCHING4ME.
